The room at Arbutus Inn was well laid out and neat, with convenient amenities like a microwave, coffee/tea makers, and a refrigerator. I appreciated having a private bathroom with all the essentials. It was great being in a central location close to the mall, and exploring the Burnside district was definitely worth it.

The personnel is very friendly and interested in giving the best service possible, and try to help out as much as possible. New Management very concerned about our experience and phoned to get feedback and offer solutions.
Breakfast at abc Restaurant was advertized as part of price but deal wasn't finalized at the time of our stay - further phone call from Management said it is now negotiated. We had to keep our bicylces in the room as we were told it was not safe in the outdoor lockup. Hotel ran out of hot water on Sat. Night due to problem beyond their control. We were told that the area of town was not the safest for guests.
